Jodi actually notes in the book that you can swap cilantro for parsley, which I appreciated. Once I adjusted the ratios to my taste, the drinks were perfect. This book is beautiful and very well put together. The Fennel Fresh juice has become a surprising favorite of mine for handling afternoon bloating. That being said, as someone completely new to green juices, some of the recipes in the 'Green Elixirs' section feel a bit too intensely healthy or bitter for my palate right now. I wish there were a few more fruit-heavy options to transition with, but if you love pure, authentic green nutrition, you will absolutely think this is a 5-star book!

The Healing Juice Connection is easily one of the best-designed juicing guides I've picked up. The structure is clear, and the Kitchen Essentials section is great, though you definitely need a high-quality machine like a masticating juicer or a high-powered blender to get the textures right. I've been making the Fresh Fizz recipe consistently and love how light and energized it makes me feel. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply the time and cost commitment of keeping up with a high volume of fresh, organic produce every single week. If you are ready to make that investment in your wellness routine, this book is an excellent roadmap.
